This project will have a transformational impact on residents of Gloucester, Cape Ann and across the North Shore, along with thousands of visitors. We want you to be involved any way you can. Help your neighbors, serve your community and share your expertise. No matter what kind of volunteer work you do for SFL2025, you are contributing in invaluable ways.

Multi-year Gifts: There is an option to create a recurring donation here but if you would like to commit to a multi-year gift, you may also download the PDF pledge card here and return to Asst. Campaign Manager Anna Morneau at amorneau@sawyerlibraryfoundation.org or please call Anna at 978-225-0915.
We appreciate all gifts of all sizes. Thank you.

Matching Gifts: Corporate matching gifts can double or even triple the impact of your contribution. Select the matching gift option on our website donation page to find out if your company will match your gift to Sawyer Free Library 2025.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts: Making a memorial gift can be a meaningful way to honor the living or the memory of family members or friends while supporting SFL2025.

Donor Naming Opportunities: The naming of buildings and spaces is one of the ways in which the Foundation will acknowledge the generosity of donors. Where appropriate, such restricted gifts may include a provision for supplemental funding for operations and maintenance overseen by the Sawyer Free Library Board. View more than a dozen naming opportunities for Sawyer Free 2025 available to our most generous donors.

Stock: Gifts of appreciated securities can be an optimal way to make a gift to SFL2025, particularly if the securities have grown in value. Typically, the sale of appreciated securities results in a tax on the amount that the securities have increased, meaning sellers are permitted to keep only a portion of the profit. By donating these appreciated securities to the Sawyer Library Foundation, gift-givers avoid capital gains tax while also earning a charitable deduction on the full value of the securities, even the portion that has increased in value.

Donor Advised Funds: Many people own Donor Advised Funds and employ them to make philanthropic contributions. Donor Advised Funds present an easy way to support SFL2025. Donors can use such funds to make gifts to the Sawyer Free Library 2025 project. Donors can also name the Sawyer Library Foundation as a beneficiary of a Donor Advised Fund.

Qualified Charitable Distributions: An easy option for donors over the age of 70 years, six months. Maximize your charitable giving by making a gift from an IRA. Donate up to $100,000 per year tax-free directly to the Sawyer Library Foundation and avoid having to recognize the distribution as income.

Wire Transfer: Please contact our Foundation Treasurer at treasurer@sawyerfree2025.org or call 978.225.0363 for simple instructions on how to make a wire transfer or questions about any of our multimodal gifting options detailed above.
