Giving Policy

The Sawyer Library Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization and as such, all gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the limit allowed by law. The Foundation’s tax ID number is 84-2837206. 

The Foundation’s sole function is to raise community awareness about the Gloucester Lyceum and Sawyer Free Library’s plans for growth, convey the critical role libraries play in strong communities and secure funding for the Sawyer Free Library 2025 project as well as for subsequent maintenance and upgrades.

To make a gift by mail, send your check made out to Sawyer Free Library Foundation to SF2025, 2 Dale Avenue, Gloucester, Mass. 01930. Gifts may also be made using cash, stock, real estate, tangible personal property or some other asset.

Privacy Policy

The Sawyer Library Foundation is committed to safeguarding your information. We do not collect any personally identifying information other than your email in the event you make a donation. This information is used only by the Foundation for our stated mission. We do not rent, sell, or trade your personal information to any outside company or organization.
